Osteopaths are musculoskeletal specialists who are highly skilled in assessing and treating the mechanics of the body.

They use a variety of soft tissue and sometimes manipulative techniques, gently realigning the body to achieve balance and function.

Osteopaths may also provide advice on posture and exercise to aid recovery, promote health and prevent symptoms recurring. Osteopaths are trained to manipulate joints but this is not an exclusive treatment. The majority of techniques are non-manipulative and therefore people who are concerned about or unable to have manipulation are still able to enjoy the benefits of Osteopathy.

Prevention is better than cure and it is often easier to treat underlying strains before pain begins or worsens. Early stage treatments and maintenance sessions along with exercises can help to minimize potential structural changes and arthritis.

However acute pain and injury are common too and also respond readily to treatment.

Some Common conditions that Osteopaths treats are; Back Pain, Sciatica, Whiplash, Sporting injuries, Joint Problems, Occupational Strains and more.

Feel free to contact us to find out more. Our Osteopaths would be pleased to talk to you to see how they might help you to live a pain free life.
